In 2008, college students from around New York State assembled in Albany to join Habitat for Humanity - New York State in a series of advocacy workshops and legislative visits. These students were involved in an active training on the importance of advocacy, listening to speakers, speaking with elected officials, and championing the cause of affordable housing in New York State.
